Hi! I'm Luna Rose.

I'm a poet, storyteller, advocate, content creator and occasional writer when the camera or microphone don't fit or I've got too much to say. Oh, and I'm legally blind.

I built this blog space to share my words and thoughts off the stage and screen. My aim in all I do is to push boundaries and smash the stigmas people have around blindness and disability. I've been writing for years, and more recently within the last 2 years I've started taking my writing to the stage at poetry slams and spoken word events.

So, what do I write about?

I write a bit of everything, though it's mostly my poetry that sees the light of day. The trouble with performing poetry is that quite often we're limited by time, and that means that some of the longer pieces don't get showcased unless we publish them, which is another great reason for starting this little writing home of mine.
